Usher will be entertaining millions of Americans – and not only – during the Halftime Show of the upcoming Super Bowl scheduled for February 11th at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The news was announced through a joint statement by Roc Nation, NFL, and Apple Music, and it was confirmed by Usher himself through a series of videos on his Instagram profile, including one with Kim Kardashian.
“It’s the honor of a lifetime to finally check performing at the Super Bowl off my bucket list,” Usher stated in a press release. “I can’t wait to show the world a show unlike any I’ve done before.”
“Usher is a talented showman. He sings flawlessly, has incredible choreography, and is an artist who bares his soul. I expect magic,” said Jay Z, the leader of Roc Nation. Seth Dudowsky, head of the music department at the NFL, the American football league, added, “Usher is an icon who has left an indelible mark with his music.”
But the surprises for Usher’s fans don’t end there. The American artist has also announced that his new album, “Coming Home,” the first since 2016, will be released on Super Bowl Sunday.
