Jung’s journey began long before he dominated global DJ booths. Working diligently in A&R roles throughout the 1990s, he developed a razor-sharp ear for sonic trends. In 2002, alongside his childhood friend Patrick Bodmer, DJ T. (Thomas Koch), and the duo Booka Shade (Walter Merziger and Arno Kammermeier), he launched Get Physical Music in Berlin.
What followed altered the trajectory of modern dance music. The label championed a muscular, highly rhythmic, yet deeply melodic and song-driven approach to electronic music.
