Montreal’s most charismatic export and electronic music’s eternal tastemaker, Tiga, has officially descended from the heavens to deliver his fourth studio album, HOTLIFE. Released on April 17, 2026, via Turbo Recordings and Secret City Records, the album arrives as a victory lap following his high-octane performance on the Quasar stage at Coachella.
Overcoming the “Vibe Fog”
The journey to HOTLIFE wasn’t just a creative one; it was a battle for “Absolute Brain Freedom.” Tiga reveals that the project emerged after he conquered a self-diagnosed neurological condition he dubbed “Vibe Fog.” Faced with a choice between cashing out or rebuilding his legacy “brick by brick, gargoyle by gargoyle,” Tiga chose the latter. The result is what insiders are calling a distilled essence of the artist—simultaneously angelic and terrifying.
“My yes/no response time to artistic choices is off the charts,” Tiga explains with his signature wit. “We took each second shaved off every creative decision and reinvested it into the album’s runtime.”
A Global Syndicate of Sound
Tiga didn’t climb “Music Mountain” alone. HOTLIFE is a collaborative powerhouse, featuring a “who’s who” of electronic innovation:
-
The Heavy Hitters: Longtime allies like Boys Noize (on the fierce “HOT WIFE”) and Matthew Dear.
-
The New Guard: Hometown whiz-kids Priori and Patrick Holland, alongside the gritty energy of Fcukers and Maara.
-
The Underground: MRD, Gesloten Cirkel, and the raw textures of Paranoid London.
From the infectious lightning of “ECSTASY SURROUNDS ME” to the Detroit-homage of “I AM YOUR DETROIT SUNRISE,” the album is 60 minutes of pure, unadulterated “Catharsis Machine” energy.
