With lyrics like “This girl is nitrogen” and “I’m freezing,” Bellamy delivers a haunting performance that debuted live earlier this month during an intimate, high-octane set at London’s O2 Academy Brixton.
The album’s title itself is a nod to the famous 1977 interstellar mystery—a 72-second radio pulse from the Sagittarius constellation that left astronomers stunned. By naming the record after this unexplained extraterrestrial signal, Muse signals a return to the cosmic themes and grand-scale mysteries that defined their most iconic eras.
