The global celebration of dance music heritage just found its next destination. As part of the massive Ministry of Sound 35-Year World Tour, the iconic London institution heads to Florida for an exclusive Miami Music Week showcase. Partnering with the legendary Hard Times label, this event promises an authentic journey through house music history on Friday, March 27th.
A Historic Partnership at Sable Miami
This stop marks a pivotal moment in the ambitious 35-city global run. By joining forces with Hard Times—the UK imprint that championed US house sounds since the early 90s—Ministry of Sound honors a relationship spanning over three decades. Jared McCulloch, Head of Live at MoS, notes that reigniting this partnership for Miami Music Week felt like a natural evolution of their shared history.
The setting for this marathon session is Sable Miami, a fresh indoor-outdoor venue designed for the “discerning head.” Attendees can choose between the intimate, high-fidelity vinyl listening lounge indoors or the lush, open-air Garden. Both spaces feature state-of-the-art sound systems tailored for the deep, soulful frequencies this lineup demands.
Dennis Ferrer and Derrick Carter Headline the Stacked Bill
The curation reflects a “past, present, and future” approach to the genre. Dennis Ferrer, the Objektivity mastermind, brings his signature soulful precision to the decks. Beside him, Chicago icon Derrick Carter offers the underground architectural flair that defined a generation of selectors.
The energy remains high with a heavy-hitting b2b set from HoneyLuv and FLETCH, while Olive F and a b2b from Chuck Daniels and Doorly round out a lineup that prioritizes musical substance over fleeting trends. From 7 pm until the early hours of 4 am, Sable Miami becomes the epicenter of pure house culture.
With tickets already moving via DICE, this collaboration stands out as a sophisticated alternative to the typical MMW chaos. It is a tribute to 35 years of Ministry of Sound’s dominance and the enduring influence of the Hard Times legacy.
